Ivan Tumanov

was born in 1995 in Lviv, Ukraine.

At the age of 9 he received his first saxophone lessons from Andrian Leskiv at the Music School in Lviv.

During his studies in music school he participated in concerts with the orchestra "Fanfaras of Lviv". From 2010-2014 he was a student at the College of Music in Lviv. Here he deepened his knowledge of saxophone under the guidance of Prof. Lilija Maksimenko. In 2014-2016 he studied in the class of Jan Schulte-Bunert at the Academy of Music and Theater in Rostock. Since 2016 he is a student of Prof. Rico Gubler at the Musikhochschule Lübeck.

Additional artistic impulses came in masterclasses with Jean-Denis Michat (Lyon), Daniel Gauthier (Cologne), Christian Wirth (Paris), Vincent David (Paris) and Arno Bornkamp (Amsterdam).

Ivan Tumanov is the winner of 13 competitions. 5 of them were international.

Ekaterina Tumanova

Born in Nuremberg in 1992, her musical education began at a very early age at the Musikschule Stadt Nürnberg 1997-1998. She continued her education in 1998-2005 in Kazan, Russia, at the Music School No. 7, majoring in piano. She successfully completed the music college in Kazan with majoring in piano (class Nelly Sokolova) (2006-2010). During these years she discovered the organ for herself and after graduating from the Music College she was admitted to the Kazan State Conservatory (faculty of organ and harpsichord), where she studied organ for two years with Lada Labzina.

2012-2016 she studied at the Musikhochschule Lübeck (church music B) with Prof. Arvid Gast.

Since 2016 she is studying at the MHL (Degree Program Church Music A) with Sergej Tcherepanov.

Masterclasses in Organ: Wolfgang Zerer, Pieter van Dijk, Michael Radulescu, Zsigmond Szárthmáry and others.

Master classes in piano with: Hubert Rutkowski, Stepan Simonian, Alon Goldstein.
